Oct. 13, 2021, Indian Summer!
At one moment, having considered photos from a number of different perspectives, I turned toward this view of the bridge spanning the river below and clicked this image. It does manage to capture something of the grandeur of the place-- but itself is modest given the overwhelming scale of the entire site. Hot, hot hot! After no more than 20 minutes of half an hour, we retreated to our nice cool vehicle and fresh bottles of water....to continue our trip.
