May, We Made It

All sorts of images come to mind this May-- images of pandemic, politics, health, economics, jobs, families, stricken family members, lots of trials across our land and the world this Spring. And yet, people step up, help each other, support each other, inspire each other, music still resonates, art still moves the spirit, family is near-and-dear as always, maybe greater, now. We get to step back, look at our lives, our situations, our country, our culture, our friends...we get an opportunity to reconsider all of it. This is my perspective, and I'm sticking to it.

Here is my original painting, "Search...Hope," 48" x 36" acrylic on canvas, one of a series having to do with an expression I learned in childhood, "Faith, Hope and Charity, that's the way to live successfully, how do I know? The Bible tells me so," a modern interpretation of the idea. Thanks for taking a look, for your support and enthusiasm.
