April 2, Easter Week on My Mind...
Here is another from the same series, "Christ with Feminists," one of series of wash sketches completed at time. In my own Easter Ruminations, we've had not twenty but forty years to prepare for new century, 21st Century...and here we are. From, say, 1980 to now...seems very little has been identified, tackled, accomplished. Commentary on our political class...which in the end, is itself commentary on ourselves. Perhaps Easter this year requires expressing our gratitude and asking for help from On-High in new and more direct ways.
