Almost Mid-May, We're Getting Itchy

Some years ago, I painted a series of lighthouses on ordinary wooden shingles, shingles I found around the property, in the basement, in the barn, I used photos as inspiration, and did a series of twenty, perhaps 30. Here is one of my favorites, Eagle Island Light, as seen from the south end of Sylvester Cove on Deer Island. The series of painted shingles has sat around this house forever. But now, I will be showing them off in months just ahead. Hoping this post finds you safe, solvent, in good spirits, and perhaps in your imagination if nowhere else, sailing away from the worries of this world! What better "Pandemic Therapy?" Be well
