7/28 Are you tan, yet?
Here is a closer look at the image, originally painted at a small scale, 7" x 5," acrylic paint on masonite. What with a good scan, some fine tuning of color balance, tones, and some fussing, good prints result! The inspiration for this image arises out of our having visited this beach so many times over decades, in all sorts of weather-- some glorious summer days, and some during or right after passing hurricanes when the surf is pounding and frothing and the waves alluring...if you like body-surfing. I do. Here is one of my favorite images of the time, "Sr. VP HR Takes Info Dip," also done in acrylic on masonite from which prints are made available.
